And now let me show you all the cards I created for today. I’d like to start with the floral classical card:
To create this I used Hibiscus Frame die set. I die cut the frame three times and stuck them together with liquid adhesive. Then I colored the frame with yellow ink using ink blending tool. I also added brown ink to the center and the adges of the flower. When die cutting one of the frame I set aside the patels and later colored them first with ink blending tool using the same colors as for the frame and then added some details with colored pencils.
I created a card base out of white cardstock and added yellow ink to the lower part of the card base . Then I cut dark brown panel to the size of the card base. In the lower part of the panel I die cut the outline from the Big Friend die and white heat emboss the sentiment from Summer Cuddly Critters. After that I foam mounted the panel onto the card base and adhered the flower onto the panel. I inlayed the word Friend into the gap.
Later I decided to create a simple one layered card and used Surf’s Up set of stamps.
I draw the outline of every tiny island of the card with a thin black liner and stamped all the stamps with black ink. I watercolored the card using distress markers.
Some details of the card I covered with glossy accent.
Here is one more similar one layered watercolored card with tiny islands.
On this pfoto you can see that nuts and surfboard are covered with glossy accent.
And here come two last cards for today, where I used Summer Cuddly Critters set of stamps and dies.
The first card is with cat:
I created A2 top folding card base and covered the front of it with light green color using ink blending tool. Then I stamped the cute cat, umbrella and ball on the watercolor paper and watercolored them with distress markers. After that I placed all details on the card and foam mounted them onto the card base. Then I addes bubbles to complete the scene.
On this photo you can see the shimmer on the swimming suit of the cat. I covered it with Wink of Stella shimmer brush.
The second card is with cuttie dog.
He wears mirrored sunglasses) You can notice the reflection of the clouds there.
Some details are also covered with shimmer here.
